Reviews
I have traveled in a lot of hostels in my life and I was a little hesitant on that fact that it was not a capsule so worried about noise and not getting enough sleep. But the hostel was very very quiet. I stayed in an all women's room. It had it's own shower and toilet (separated). The beds were comfortable and even had a small locked space for valuables, etc that could only be opened by your own room key. Getting to room was simple (other hostels can be a maze!). Very clean! Would definitely stay again. Two metro stops near by, decent places to eat and plenty of grocery stores near by. They also allow you go keep your luggage in safe space for free (up to 11pm on the day you check-out). I've stayed in hostels where such services were at a cost.
The only thing that I would ask they do is that add a few extra hooks. But it is minor :)
convenient location hotel, the staff is very polite and friendly, the rooms are clean and quite spacious. I rented a place in a six-bed room for women for 2 nights. The only downside was that it stank in the morning in the bathroom, but on the second day the smell was gone
Remembering that this is a hostel, I’m not a Hotel I’ve given it a five-Star review. At first, I was merely curious about what it would be like to share a dormitory. It takes a bit of getting used to if you’ve not done it before but after the first night I sort of had it down. Being a bit of a leader I just simply turned the lights off at 10 pm, otherwise no one bothers and made sure the window was open a bit. Otherwise you get a headache with eight people breathing the same air. thankfully each bed has its own privacy curtain so it’s fine it’s just a bit different. But what I really like about this place is that as a writer I can sit and write in the common room; I can save money by cooking myself and I can be sociable if I feel like it.
I had 6 mixed bedroom. Separate toilet and bathroom facilities are provided in this room. The room is pleasant. services are really wonderful. The fact that the tube is close by makes the location ideal.
As a group of 8, it can be hard to find a safe and comfortable place to spend 4 days in Paris, but this hostel made our stay very peaceful!
The room was comfortable and clean, with an amazing view (as you can see in the picture), and the staff was very pleasant. There’s a common kitchen next to the lobby, where people cook and staff their food.
The breakfast area is in the entrance/lobby of the hostel, it can be inconvenient if you want a quiet and peaceful place to pick up your food and eat.
There’s a rooftop with a view to Paris, and places to sit and relax.
The area around it has a lot of restaurants, cafes and supermarket, and seems to be safe overall.
Not bad place, i searched and this might be the best hostel i could find.
Beds are nice and clean. I slept in a 8 ppl room, u might have to wait a bit for the toilet and shower. Theres hangers for u to hang clothes or to dry ur bath towel. Also theres lockers and it fits my big backpack and u gotta brung ur own lock. Downsides would be the shower room might smell a bit sometimes but its ok, and for the bed its so hard to be quite so u might be worry for disturbing other’s sleep, but its all not big problems.
Shower room has hairdryer and a soap, but its better to bring ur own shampoo and soap i think.
On the ground floor, theres a bar (which i didnt use), theres locker for u store luggages on the day u check in or out, it also fits my big backpack size, but probably not suitcases (not sure).
Breakfast is 9 euros, but i didnt eat i just buy from nearby bakery, grocery store or a supermarket. Theres an area for u to eat and socialise, u can play board games. Theres a kitchen for all people to cook, they two ovens, stoves and a fridge.
Location is convenient, near two stations (dugommier and daumesnill).
Theres a rooftop where u can see the streets from above, but seems not many people use it.
Good place in general, will come back if im still on budget.
I paid 956hkd + 42hkd at hostel for 5 days, in 8/1/2024-13/1/2024.
This hostel’s facilities are great, and is perfect for those who aren’t interested in socializing, or are older than the general hostel population and are looking for a calmer, more work oriented environment.
However, If you want to make friends and feel good about being social, as well as be near the city center, go elsewhere.
I will say, if you are unbothered by the lack of atmosphere, the beds are very nice, you have a little capsule with a mirror, a safe, your own dimmable light and shelving all within a curtained area, so people can easily be awake without disturbing one another. The shower in my room had a very thoughtful little sand timer you could use to help you gauge how long you had been in the shower. The kitchen was quite nice and there was plenty of space for my food, the rooftop was beautiful, and overall, the whole hostel was thoughtfully laid out and functioned very well.
Love this hostel - very friendly and welcoming. 24 hour front desk and bar til late.
Amazing rooftop terrace with vegetable garden. Really nice eating and study area with garden on the ground floor too.
The room we had was a bunk bed with a double bed which is perfect for a family of 4 and it was all really clean and functional. Good shower too.
Can be noisy in the night.
Easy to get to (but not great until August as route 5 is closed after Bercy station)
